Wakizashi is a symbiosis of modern blacksmiths-gunsmiths and the achievements of Japanese masters in their pursuit of perfection. This is the result of centuries of searching for the perfect weapon with the sharpest and most durable blade.
Wakizashi “Climbing Fuji” is dedicated to the sacred and revered for centuries Mount Fuji-san, as the Japanese call it. Therefore, the author’s tsuba from titanium Damascus ZlaTi is sky blue, with floating clouds over Mount Fuji. On the front side of the tsuba, a hieroglyph meaning Fuji is engraved, and on the back of the tsuba, the symbol “Feat”. Author’s menuki are also decorated with hieroglyphs: 1) Contemplation of beauty, 2) Strength.
