A stiletto is a stabbing edged weapon, a dagger of Italian origin with a straight cross and a thin, narrow blade, its classic version have no cutting edge (blade).

The stiletto predecessor is the so-called “dagger of mercy”, or misericord (French. miséricorde) used to finish off the enemy and in case of fighting in armor.

Small size, convenient shape and excellent sharpness allowed it to penetrate most easily through the joints of knight armor, between the scales of the shell or the rings of chain mail, thereby ending the torment of the wounded dying warrior.

It appeared in Europe in the XII century and represented a dagger 20-40 cm long, having a 3-4-faced blade.

Our collection includes stilettos from the series “Symbols of the Elements”. After buying one stiletto, you can not resist buying all the others.
