The hilt in the form of two bone onlays is decorated with plates of pure silver inlaid with garnets and turquoise – the most beautiful and widespread combination of precious stones on oriental weapons.
The blade shape, strongly curved and thinning downward, caused the technically complex design of the scabbard – it was required that the blade fit comfortably into the scabbard and was also easily removable. To achieve this, the weapons master invented and implemented special elements in the scabbard.
