The “Oriental” dagger is modeled on the Persian dagger which is a cold steel weapon with a short, curved double-edged blade. Structurally, Persian daggers are similar to Turkish, but they are more elegant and slightly smaller in size.
The blade is more often made of damask steel, but can be made of stainless steel. The hilt is combined of hornbeam and metal, or solid metal. The scabbard can also be combined (hornbeam, leather, metal) or solid metal. The blade, hilt and scabbard are richly decorated with oriental ornaments by etching, engraving and plated with gold of the highest standard galvanically.
Each dagger is a vivid example of handmade and inspired collective creativity. Weapon makers, artists and engravers of the company worthily keep and develop the Zlatoust traditions of metal decoration. When creating each item, they combine talent, creativity and a high level of performance.
