Themis – in ancient Greek mythology, the goddess of justice, the Titanide, the second wife of Zeus (among the Romans – Justice). It is depicted with a blindfold, scales and a sword in her hands. Allegorically Themis means justice, law; the scales of Themis is a symbol of justice; servants (priests) of Themis are servants of the law, judges.
The plate with the artistic image of the goddess of justice, made in the style of the Zlatoust engraving on metal, is a decorated item practically not affected by time. This is a handmad sample of the Zlatoust masters: the artist, engraver, galvanic specialist, master weapon maker. The technological process of manufacturing and decorating metal products has not changed much for more than 200 years since the inception of the art of metal engraving.
A table stand is supplied with the plate. The “Themis” plate will decorate the office of a lawyer, judge and will be a worthy gift for a person whose professional activity is related to jurisprudence and law and order.
