The handmade dagger is made by Russian weapon makers from Zlatoust. Since 1815, Zlatoust weapon makers have been making weapons for the army and navy. A distinctive feature is the manufacture of exclusive decorated weapons.
A souvenir dagger is no different in combat qualities from combat counterparts. It is just decorated with pure gold plated patterns and jewelry stones which the masters decided to insert into the scabbard and hilt of the dagger. It became a unique weapon, not just beautiful, but of a collection value.
The blade is forged of damask steel made by alloying metal packets. Damask steel has a characteristic ornament. Two fullers are on both sides of the blade making it lighter and giving it additional strength. All-metal scabbard provides for superior grip and ease of carrying. The scabbard has a ring for attaching the strap.
The dagger rests in a stylish wooden box.
