In this work, the masters of Zlatoust brought both skill and inspiration, and also elegant patterns. The blade is made of high -alloy steel polished to a mirror finish. The elements of the hilt and scabbard are made of metal with a pure gold plating. The tip of the scabbard is decorated with molding with ornate ornaments. On the scabbard itself, the craftsmen applied an elegant golden ligature consisting of interweaving of leaves and flowers, the portrait of Louis XIV became the central figure of the scabbard.

All his life, Louis XIV adhered to the principles of absolute monarchy. People say that his words were: “The state is me, gentlemen.”
