The technical and artistic execution of the Tabun dagger was highly appreciated by Pierre Reverdi, the creator of poetic Damascus, and Leonid Arkhangelsky, President of the Union of Blacksmiths of Russia, one of the recognized creators of Russian Damascus at the end of the 20th century. L. Arkhangelsky said about this work: “This is a continuation and even development of the direction of the classical tradition of Zlatoust, I. Bushuev. Not just figures-flowers-animals and other motifs, but a kind of voluminous, multi-faceted composition-pattern, made with a deep understanding of the features of the technology. ”
