A souvenir vase is an exquisite combination of Ural jasper – the most famous and widespread gem on earth, metal and jewelry stones (phianites, 1,362 pcs.)
Jasper is one of the revered ornamental stones in the whole world, including Russia. Amulets were made from jasper, and in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, jasper was appreciated for making luxurious items in palace interiors, vases and floor lamps.
The vase is richly decorated with floral ornaments, phianites of various shades emphasize inflorescences, berries and grapes. The vase is mounted on a pedestal of jasper and a metal edging, also decorated with Zlatoust engraving.
