Coffee is an international drink, people love and drink it in all parts of the globe, each country has its own traditions, taste preferences and secrets of making the drink. According to legend, coffee was first discovered in Ethiopia, when one day a local shepherd noticed that his goats, eating small trees with red berries on the mountain slopes, became very excited. The shepherd himself tasted the berries and leaves of the tree – both turned out to be bitter in taste. But, strangely enough, the shepherd felt a surge of strength and did not notice fatigue for a long time. The monks of the nearby monastery heard about this, they learned to infuse the berries of this extraordinary plant in water and came to the conclusion that after drinking itk they can stay awake for many hours of prayers.
