The casket body and lid are made from natural stone – nephrite – the most durable ornamental stone that is difficult to crack. The beneficial properties of nephrite have been known for many thousands of years ago. Taking the casket in your hands, you will feel a surge of strength and a charge of vivacity. All thanks to the miraculous natural properties of stone. Nephrite is the sacred stone of ancient China.
The hinged lid of the casket is decorated with a molded handle and a ball of rock crystal. Rock crystal has been known to mankind since ancient times. In ancient Greece, there was a belief that rock crystal is the tears of the gods that fell from heaven and absorbed their strength. The Japanese recognized it as a frozen breath and dragon saliva. In Europe, rock crystal was also called Arabic and Bohemian diamond. The largest and highest-quality crystals are mined in the Middle Urals (Russia) and in the French and Swiss Alps.
All metal elements of the casket are plated with gold and manually engraved using the technique of Zlatoust engraving on metal.
