The hilt of the knife is made of birch wart. Wart is a gnarl on a tree with deformed directions of growth of wood fibers. The graceful blade is made of high alloy stainless steel. A decorative ornament of pure gold is applied to the mirror surface of the blade. The hilt end is decorated with a falcon’s cast head.
