The blade of the knife is made of high alloy steel used to make working cutting tools up to surgical scalpels. The blade is covered with enamel pattern with gilding elements. All-metal scabbard has the same style as the knife. Richly decorated surface of the scabbard is handmade by craftsmen. First, an engraver, using a microscope, cuts recesses on the metal surface, creating a single pattern. Then the artist draws the pattern with a brush.
For more than 200 years, Zlatoust weapon makers have been making knives, ranging from simple utility ones to award knives of noble materials. The owners of knives are the first persons of the states. In 2018, the American film actor Stephen Seagal received a special gift for his 66th birthday.
The weapon makers and blacksmiths of Zlatoust made an exclusive kukri for the master of martial arts. Stephen Seagal took an active part in drafting the sketch himself. This kukri is presented in our catalog of knives.
