Weapon makers, artists and engravers worthily keep and develop the Zlatoust traditions of metal decoration. When creating each item, they combine talent, creativity and a high level of performance.
The blade of the knife is designed as a small Japanese sword. Damask steel as a material for the blade, is a durable high-carbon alloy of metals with a characteristic pattern. Thus, the single-blade knife will not need sharpening for a long time. The hilt and the scabbard of the knife are covered with leather of a sea slope. It gives its owner a touch of luxury and emphasizes exquisite taste. Metal elements of the scabbard and hilt are silver plated and hand-painted with colored enamel. The artist chose classic Japanese motifs for patterns.
