The knife blade is made of damask steel. Damask steel is a durable high-carbon alloy of metals with a characteristic pattern. The blade will not need sharpening for a long time. The blade surface is decorated with oriental ornaments and the image of a falcon’s nest. Decor is applied with pure 24K gold. All-metal scabbard and the knife hilt also have an oriental ornament applied using the Zlatoust metal engraving technique. There is a hunting scene on the front side of the scabbard. The hilt end is decorated with the golden head of a bird of prey whose eyes glow with jewelry stones.
