Horn hilt dagger

A dagger with a horn hilt is a unique gift due to the unique material of the hilt. A guard is in the form of two deer heads made by casting. It serves as a bridge between the curved shape of the horn and an elongated, thinned blade. The guard of the hilt is plated with pure gold and complemented with inlaid green phianites made in Austria, giving it a finished look.

The front side of the all-metal scabbard has an artistic pattern of a deer made using manual enameling. The remaining parts of the scabbard and blade are decorated in the traditional technique of the Zlatoust metal engraving. It originated from 1815 and today is unique in its own way; its secret is passed on to craftsmen from generation to generation. Free space around the pattern and the back side of the scabbard is decorated with engraved floral ornaments.

The blade is made of high-alloy stainless steel. It has high strength making it possible for the manufacture of surgical instruments.
