The case is made under the author’s sketch, in accordance with the design concept. Metal surfaces are decorated manually using jewelry techniques with a needle and a cutter using the Zlatoust metal engraving method.
The stages of creating a Zlatoust engraving on metal include turning, brush painting, engraving on varnish with a needle, etching, engraving with a chisel, polishing. Nickel plating, enameling and gilding emphasize the beauty of the design and details.
Cabochons for the decoration of the cases are made of malachite. Malachite is a natural mineral with miraculous natural properties; it neutralizes harmful effects of electrical radiation, creating a favorable atmosphere at home and workplace, strengthening the aura. According to ancient beliefs, malachite contributes to making cherished desires true, and also favorably affects the state of human health. No wonder the rooms in the palaces of the Russian emperors are decorated with this wonderful stone.
