To decorate metal elements of the hilt and scabbard, as well as blade surfaces, the techniques of Zlatoust engraving on metal were used. These include brush painting, needle engraving on varnish, etching, engraving with a cutter, polishing. Nickel plating and gilding emphasize the beauty of the design and details. A floral ornament in the Baroque style is a trademark of every engraving artist from Zlatoust. The scabbard provides for reliable grip and ease of carrying.
The dirk is made by Russian weapon makers from Zlatoust. Since 1815, Zlatoust weapon makers have been making weapons for the army and navy. A distinctive feature is the manufacture of exclusive decorated weapons.
Thanks to the skillful decor, our dirks are of collectible and artistic value. Over time, it will have antique value as well.
